For my Cluedo themed birthday dinner party (more on that later), we decided to play a murder mystery game, something I’ve always wanted to do. I wanted my nephews to join in the fun, but of course a murder mystery is terribly inappropriate for a 5 and 7 year old! So instead we planned a mystery game that we could solve together. The object of the game: collect the clues and find out who stole the birthday afternoon tea.
What next? What do we do with all these decorations? We started using any and every excuse to throw a party. Every insignificant birthday, every free Saturday night. We had a Hawaiian Luau in July, Mardi Gras in May. We had backyard BBQs, Italian dinner parties, Mexican fiestas and pool parties!
Again and again we wondered what do we do with all this stuff? Surely other people could use it? Pass the Party was born! A way to make celebrating affordable and accessible for everyone.
